EasyFlow Liquid Floor Screed Launches in South Wales

Whilst the construction industry in Wales continues to feel the effects of the economic downturn, a South Wales-based, unemployed building professional, has launched a new venture that will not only help the beleaguered industry save money, but create much needed employment.

David Hainsworth (pictured), 38, from Swansea has enjoyed a long and successful career in the construction industry, having managed many multi-million pound developments for some of Wales’s biggest firms.

Made redundant when the effects of the recession began to bite, David has been looking for an opportunity to develop a business ever since. “A good friend of mine had dealt with a national company based up in Shropshire that specialises in a revolutionary new liquid floor screed product.”

“Having worked with the installation of traditional sand and cement-based floor screed, I knew just how painfully slow the process could be. Not only did it take a long time to install, but the drying time would take weeks – really holding up the progress of a project.

“This new liquid floor screed product takes around an hour to install – compared to around a day for the old-fashioned alternative – and it can be walked on within 48 hours meaning work can continue.”

David spotted the huge potential for this and has joined forces with EasyFlow liquid floor screed to bring the innovative product to South Wales.

“It offers huge advantages for builders and DIY enthusiasts, cutting both time and costs. One application that it really helps is with under-floor heating systems. It can be laid much thinner than alternatives and, being liquid, it flows all around the pipes – helping conduct the heat much more effectively.”
